Crystals to Heighten Your Creativity

In this in-person workshop, artist Melissa Alley will teach you mark-making and colour as a way of representing different energetic qualities, expanding your visual vocabulary and helping your journey as an intuitive artist. Your muse? The crystal kingdom.

In this in-person workshop, you'll enjoy a colourful, creative journey with crystals. You will learn to discern different energies in your crystals, representing them in a visual way through line and colour. 

This in-person workshop includes:

• Meditation to connect to different crystals and become more sensitive to their individual qualities
• Make drawings inspired by each crystal using the rhythms that represent their essence most effectively
• Create a painting using colours that correlate with the feelings they evoke

Learning to discern different qualities and to represent them in mark-making and colour will expand your creative vocabulary. This will help you develop your empathic abilities as an intuitive artist who paints from flow.

Entry requirements

• No experience needed, all are welcome.
• Please bring along a crystal to work with. 
• Crystals are also available to purchase in the College shop.
