This workshop will introduce you to Lenormand cards; a deck of 36 cards which are much less complex than tarot and with easier to understand images. Lenormand cards are having a major resurgence at the moment.
The cards are named after Mlle Marie Ann Lenormand who was a famous fortune teller of the 18th and 19th century however they originally come from a card game that was created by a J.K. Hechtel of Nurnberg and published in 1800. After Mlle lenormand's death (in 1843) the petit Lenormand came into being (around 1850).
The simplicity of the system of Lenormand cards allows you to intuitively play and to find meaning to the cards in a reading.
We will cover the meanings of the cards, how they work singly and in combinations, building up to using them in spreads. A fun and interesting day to expand your intuitive repertoire.
