This magical livestream workshop teaches you about spellcrafting herbs and practical aspects of rituals for protection.
The Seed Sistas, whose books include Poison Prescriptions and The Sensory Herbal Handbook (both Watkins), draw from their own experience of herbal magic. Even while being trained in white coats on a conservative clinical herbalism degree, in the belly of a hospital in London, they practiced magic to bring power to our patient's prescriptions and affect the course of their own lives.
In this mystical online workshop, the Seed Sistas will show you:
- How simple and powerful magic can be
- Their go-to herbs for magic
- Astrological influences on spell work
- How to cleanse your magical tools
- How to prepare properly for spellcrafting
- The importance of intention and attention
To prepare for the session we'd love you to take some time and make a few reflections and go on a plant hunt.
Make some time for yourself pre-session, make a cup of your favourite herbal tea, get a pen and paper, light a candle
- Have a brainstorm about the word SPELL – what does this word mean to you? Make some notes.
- Next have a ponder about the word PROTECTION and repeat the process.
Drink your tea – blow out your candle and let yourself give thanks for all the positives you have in your life.
Please bring:
- Notebook and pen
- Colouring pencils
- Lavender essential oil
- An open heart
- Cup of Yarrow Herbal Infusion - thyme or sage or rosemary will do just perfectly and none are essential

We will not be recording this workshop. One of the unique aspects of the College's online events is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded.
