The Way of the Ankh

Join us for a two-part livestream ceremony and initiation into the vibration of ancient Egypt's most sacred magickal tool, the Ankh.

The Ankh is one of the most iconic symbols of Ancient Egypt. This hieroglyph represents life and is often called the "Key of Life." In magickal and ceremonial practice, its potential reaches much further. The Ankh is a key that can open gateways in consciousness, giving access to the higher self and awakening powers and abilities we have forgotten.

This online ceremony is an exact adaptation of the in-person Way of the Ankh ceremony that we hold in person at The College of Psychic Studies once a year. It was created especially for those who cannot attend in person, and for those who have walked the Ankh before and wish to deepen and strengthen their connection to its power.

What to expect

Part one of this workshop prepares you mentally and energetically for the Ankh ceremony through a series of focused mini rituals that centre, clear and align your energy. Part two is the full ritual ceremony, in which Pixie guides you to walk the Flaming Ankh and align your energy with its vibration and power. As you step into the force of the Flaming Ankh, you leave the old, scattered self behind and emerge anchored in your centre.

Throughout the ceremony, Pixie reveals deeper ways of understanding and working with the Ankh as a sacred tool. Whether this is the beginning or a deepening of your relationship with the Ankh, you will leave knowing how to consciously connect with its vibration whenever you wear it, hold it or work with it.

Meet your tutor, Pixie Carney

Pixie P Carney is a psychic, seer, channel, energy healer, ceremonial magi, shamanic practitioner and esoteric tutor. She comes from an Irish family line of psychics and healers, so the gift is literally in her blood. At The College of Psychic Studies she holds in-person Egyptian ritual ceremonies, offers private Sekhmet healings, and teaches a wide range of Egyptian and other esoteric subjects.

Pixie's fascination with Egypt began in childhood. In 2018 she was initiated in Heka Ancient Egyptian Magick in Egypt, where her relationship with the Goddess Sekhmet began. In a private session at the temple at Karnak, she channelled the energy of the Most Powerful One and received an attunement from Sekhmet herself to pass this energy on to others. The journey ended with a powerful encounter in the Great Pyramid of Giza with Djehuti (Thoth). Sekhmet and Thoth are both Ankh carriers, and Pixie was chosen to work with these Neteru, channelling their power and bringing these ancient magickal traditions alive for the healing and soul evolution of those she works with.

"I was guided to offer this ceremony and ritual online for those who cannot attend my annual Way of the Ankh ritual, which I have held at The College of Psychic Studies for the past three years. My guides have impressed upon me how necessary it is to reach more people at this time of great shifting consciousness for our planet and all life that inhabits her. 

The Ankh is far more than a symbol – it is a tool and a key. Although we know it as the Key of Life, its potential reaches much further. Within this work, the Ankh can be used as a key to support energetic healing, awaken and develop our psychic and intuitive abilities, bring different aspects of the self into alignment, centre our scattered energy, and open pathways into deeper states of consciousness and spiritual awareness. 

The Way of the Ankh ceremony offers an opportunity to prepare ourselves mentally, spiritually and physically to navigate these changing times and the dawn of a new world. Our consciousness, light bodies and physical bodies must integrate and adjust to these new energies. Remaining centred and grounded allows us to move through this transition with greater balance and awareness. The Ankh can become a powerful tool to support us on that journey. 

I have just returned from Egypt, where in August I powered up my Ankhs and received my own energetic upgrade at the Temple of Abydos. During this ceremony, I will be working with these Ankhs to ignite the Flame of the Ankh within you. My soul's mission through my work with the Ancient Neteru is to raise the vibration of all those I encounter and start their own personal souls journey of remembering - we are stronger than we can ever imagine when we are fully awake."
