Explore the Subtle Energies of Colour

Colours are powerful. They evoke unique emotional, energetic and creative responses in each of us. This in-person workshop with artist Hanelle Levine guides you to explore your own relationship with colours. Come and discover the joys of experimenting with colour energies through painting and paper collage.

When we engage with colour, we open doorways to our imagination, psychic awareness and creative self. In this in-person workshop at The College of Psychic Studies, we will step through those doorways and explore where different colours can lead us. 

Through discussion and practical exercises, you will:

• Be taken on a guided meditation by Hanelle with the angels and forces of colour to heighten your sensitivities
• Hear about the history of colour in art and expand your vocabulary of art terms
• Learn how to understand and use a standard 12-colour colour wheel and paint your own version
• Mix colours with acrylic pants to produce the colours that you want
• Work with paint and coloured papers to stimulate your imagination
• Learn how to use visual reference resources to enliven your creativity
• Be guided by your intuition to create several pieces of artwork to take home from the day

Attend this in-person workshop with an open mind and willingness to engage with the world of colour and your imagination. Most importantly, join with the intention to have plenty of creative practice and fun!

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners taking their first steps on their creative journey, as well as for established artists to refresh their knowledge and deepen their relationship with colour energies.
