Meet the Spirit of Rose

This in-person workshop is a sensory journey to meet the rose plant spirit, who will guide your automatic drawing process to create unique visual impressions.

In this workshop at The College of Psychic Studies, you will meet the spirit of rose through fragrant tea, aromatic water, visuals, scents and psychic connection. Rose will guide your hand to create a spirit drawing through an automatic process.

This in-person workshop includes:

• Exploring automatic drawing and painting
• Engaging with the work of artists who use automatic drawing, including surrealists such as Ithell Colquhoun
• Meditating with rose using tea, rose water and other sense activations
• Automatic painting with rose tincture

Your resulting drawings are embodiments of energy inspired by the rose plant spirit. The colours and shapes of the images shift and move, breathe in and out, dissolve and contract with time. These small spirit pictures are specific to you, and are a special gift from the plant spirit. They are yours to take home.
