A workshop focusing on the basics for getting started with meditation.
During the day we will cover:
- Focusing on posture, which is created through pure alignment and finding ease to sit in meditation
- What is meditation, understanding how you approach meditation, and why you want to meditate
- Breath work, its importance and how it can enhance your meditative practice
- Exploring the various possibilities of how to use your breath to bring gentle focus to your practice
- Developing a compassionate attitude towards yourself, as you progress through your meditative practice
By the end of the workshop you will have a basic core practice that you can start building upon.
