In kundalini yoga teachings, we have an innate guidance that shows us what we should do and when we should do it. This guidance always has our best interests at heart. It serves our soul, our destiny, our purpose on this planet. It protects us and keeps us on our path.
However, this inner wisdom is often muffled and silenced by voices that aren't necessarily our own. They belong to the concern of our loved ones and societal norms, as well as our own learned expectations and fears.
In this kundalini yoga workshop, we work with movement, mantra and meditation to strengthen the voice of our inner guidance, and sharpen our capacity to hear it. We break through our limiting beliefs in order to hear and follow our own destiny.
This workshop is for everyone, regardless of level or ability.
All you need to practise is an open mind and willing spirit. You may find some of the movements challenging but always worth your best efforts. There will be chairs available for those who find it uncomfortable sitting on the floor/yoga mat for extended periods of time. Please wear comfy clothes appropriate for movement
I have worked with many styles of yoga - from Ashtanga to Vinyasa for more than ten years and teach Kundalini and general hatha yoga. When not teaching yoga I write regular magazine features for Om Yoga, Yoga and Everyday Health.
