Emotional Resilience for Sensitives

Emotional Resilience for Sensitives

Becky Walsh
Friday 10 July 2020
7:00pm - 8:30pm

Resilience is the ‘rubber ball’ factor: the ability to bounce back in the event of adversity and the ability to know yourself well enough to avoid the triggers that can cause mental and emotional issues.

Put simply, resilience is the ability to cope with and rise to the inevitable challenges, problems and setbacks you meet in normal life.

For a sensitive, life is anything but normal!

This talk is for people who feel people and the world deeply and yet want to rise up and live life to their fullest potential.

Here is what you will learn from this evening:

  • how to avoid burn-out
  • dealing with difficult people
  • staying in balance – emotionally, mentally and physically
  • assertiveness and how to give a positive ‘no’
  • knowing what your triggers are and how to avoid them
  • cultivating self-acceptance
  • putting a positive spin when reading negative people
