Make yourself comfortable at home, somewhere where you can relax and be undisturbed. You will be lying down for most of this session, experiencing Yoga Nidra, so have your yoga mat or something soft to lie on handy, a cushion or pillow and a blanket.
This evening will include a full guided experience of The Amrit Method of Yoga Nidra.
There will be an introduction to some of the theory behind the practice and an opportunity to formulate a personal intention before the Yoga Nidra begins, as well as time for questions afterwards.
Yoga Nidra, or Psychic Sleep, is a form of guided meditation that harnesses the body’s natural process of falling asleep.
During the practice, the body falls asleep while the mind is guided to a place between sleep and wakefulness, where there is distance from thoughts and where a meditative or psychic state happens naturally.
In this state of profound relaxation, various beneficial changes occur. Blood pressure and cortisol levels drop and the heart rate slows.
A process of rejuvenation begins, that when combined with the use of personal intention and positive affirmations can, for example, release unconscious trauma and effortlessly begin to erase self-destructive habits and behaviour patterns.
This is a 1.5 hour live webinar hosted on Zoom. All you need to take part is a computer with a webcam and microphone.
