Countertransference is the mirror of this: the feelings and reactions that arise in the practitioner in response, sometimes rooted in their own history, sometimes a genuine signal about what the client is carrying.

None of this signals a flaw in technique; it's simply the relational field at work.

Meet your speaker, Jessica Rosset

Jessica Rosset is a Brazilian Jungian psychoanalyst and teacher based in London. She trained in psychology at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in Brazil before completing her clinical psychodynamic training at the Society of Analytical Psychology in London, and continues her practice through clinical Jungian supervision at the Jungian Institute in Lisbon. She is currently completing an MSc in Spirituality, Consciousness, and Transpersonal Psychology at Liverpool John Moores University. The published author of a book on Astro Herbalism, Jessica sees clients one-to-one, teaches Jungian psychology, archetypal astrology, tarot and mythology, and runs a monthly women's Jungian book club exploring the work of Clarissa Pinkola Estés. Her blend of clinical rigour and deep respect for the spiritual and symbolic makes her the ideal guide for practitioners seeking to understand the psychology of their work.
