The Medium’s Path: Foundation

Deepen your connection. Strengthen the evidence. Become more fluent in the language of spirit. Following on from TJ Higgs' 6-week beginners class, The Medium's Path: Foundation Level builds real confidence, discipline, and structure in mediumship. Students move from "making the link" to holding the link, understanding how spirit communicates, and delivering clearer, stronger evidence.

This level is designed for those ready to go beyond the basics and step into the true foundations of evidential mediumship.

The six pillars of the foundation level...

1. Deepening the power & holding the blend

Students learn to sustain their connection with the communicator, recognise energetic shifts, and build trust in the link. The focus is consistency, sensitivity, and stability within the power.

2. The language of spirit

Students will explore:

• How spirit uses symbols, memory, emotion and sensation.
• How to interpret without leading or guessing.
• Developing a personal "spirit dictionary".
• Translating energetic impressions into clear evidence.
• Understanding personality, tone and intention.

This is where students become fluent in how the spirit world truly communicates.

3. Evidential accuracy & specifics

We will refine and strengthen evidence by focusing on:

• Specific, meaningful details.
• Personality traits and emotional essence.
• Validating relationships and shared memories.
• Clear, confident delivery.
• Knowing the difference between psychic and mediumistic information.

This sharpens the student's ability to bring through people, not vague energy.

4. Expanding & strengthening the clairs

Students will build each clair into a reliable tool:

• Clairvoyance becomes sharper inner and outer sight.
• Clairsentience reveals personality, emotion and physical traits.
• Clairaudience strengthens names, phrases and tones.
• Claircognisance becomes trusted direct knowing.

The aim: using the clairs consciously within the reading - not passively.

5. Structure, flow & communication style

Students will learn to:

• Build a structured contact.
• Keep the evidence flowing naturally.
• Move through a reading with confidence.
• Blend personality, emotion and memory into meaningful messages.
• Know when to stay with the link and when to move on.

This pillar creates confident mediums who can communicate clearly and respectfully.

6. Ethics, presence & spiritual responsibility

As students step into deeper work, we will embed real professionalism:

• Creating a safe environment for the sitter.
• Boundaries, sensitivity and emotional awareness.
• Honouring the communicator.
• Energetic hygiene and self-care.
• Managing nerves, self-doubt and any pressure.

This ensures the medium works with integrity, compassion, and grounded awareness.

• This course is open to those who have completed any Beginner course and/or Foundation course at the College.
• It is the ideal next step for those who have completed The Medium's Path for Beginners.
• Those who are confident in the basics of spiritual practice are welcome to join.

We will not be recording these classes. One of the unique aspects of the College's online courses is that they are highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to discuss and share with the tutor and the group. These sharings can be very personal, and some may not feel comfortable with them being recorded. If you need to miss any sessions, your tutor will be happy to offer a brief outline of the material covered.
